ollama d드라이브에 설치 (Install Ollama on D: Drive (Windows))

ollama는 이상하게 인스톨 할 때 드라이브 선택이 없다 무조건 c드라이브에 하게 하는데 이거 용량이 부담스러운게 사실이다.

메타같은 회사에서 왜 그렇게 해놓은건지 이해할 수 는 없지만 아무튼 해결 방법을 알려주겠다.

보통 올라마를 downloads에 받을텐데 거기서 터미널을 열고 아래와 같이 하면 된다.

OllamaSetup.exe /DIR=D:\ollama

Ollama is strange in that during installation, it doesn’t let you choose the drive — it always forces installation on the C: drive. This can really be a burden on storage space.

I don’t quite understand why a company like Meta would design it that way, but anyway, I’ll explain how to solve it.

Usually, you’ll download Ollama into the Downloads folder. From there, open a terminal and run the following:

OllamaSetup.exe /DIR=D:\ollama
